Speaker Information

The Beacon Institute prides itself on being a premier provider of education that positively affects the quality of life for seniors in healthcare and in residential settings throughout all of MD and DC.

We have a long list of speakers who possess rich experience within their area of expertise—but our ever-changing industry means an ever-evolving speaker list!

Welcome new speakers!

If you have never been a speaker for us at a seminar or at one of our annual conferences, we invite you to contact us, via postal mail or email, with the following information:

  1. Tell us how you heard about us and what interested you in being part of our speaker’s bureau.
  2. Submit your resume or CV.
  3. Include in the resume or attach a list of three of your most recent presentation titles, the dates and locations where the engagements took place and a contact name of someone who can attest to your speaking style.
  4. An Educational Design form and a Vested Interest form will be required for completion for all presentation submissions. (This is to complete the continuing education application purposes. We will provide these forms once the determination is made that you will be placed on our schedule.)

If you have spoken for us before at a seminar or at one of our annual conferences, we invite you to contact us, via postal mail or email, with the following information:

  2. If it’s been more than one year since we’ve had you on our schedule, attach a list of three of your most recent presentation titles, the dates and locations where the engagements took place and a contact name of someone who can attest to your speaking style.
  3. An Educational Design form and a Vested Interest form will be required for completion for all presentation submissions. (This is to complete the continuing education application purposes. We will provide these forms once the determination is made that you will be placed on our schedule.)
